Abstract:
Aiming at the shrinkage defects between risers of bearing housing casting, the scattered small risers are replaced by single large ones by adopting the technique of centralized feeding. Furthermore, the MAGMA software was used for solidification simulation to produce high quality bearing block castings. Through production verification, the improved riser process not only eliminates the shrinkage defect of casting, but also casting quality is stable.
