Abstract：
During the casting process of valve body of gate valve, usually one-two risers will be placed at its bottom,The fuction of the risers is to prevent the occurring of shrinkage holes during the solidification process. Non-riser process design for body of American standard 150 LB gate valve has been improved. The risers at the bottom are cancellde and the utilization of liquid steed is enhanced;also the pist-treatment work is alleviated.The production cost is reduced efficiently.
