Abstract:With the application of magnesium alloy in aerospace,automotive and other fields,the demand for high strength and toughness magnesium alloy is more and more urgent,and the traditional die casting process has been unable to meet the requirements of high performance magnesium alloy in the automotive field.Therefore,semi-solid rheoforming technology of magnesium alloys has been developed rapidly in recent years,and new forming technologies,such as rheological die casting,rheological squeeze casting,rheological rolling and rheological extrusion,have been tried for commercial production.Improving the production efficiency and stability of pulping and forming process and improving the comprehensive performance of products are still the current and future research hotspots.In this paper,the main process and review of semisolid rheoforming process for magnesium alloys in recent years are reviewed,and the main research direction and development prospect in this field are prospected.
