Abstract:
TiAl alloys have low density and excellent high-temperature properties and are important candidates for achieving weight loss in aeroengine structures with high thrust-weight ratios. As a key mechanical behavior that determines the upper limit of the service temperature of materials, the brittle-to-ductile transition directly affects the reliability and safety of TiAl alloy engineering applications. In this paper, the research progress on the brittle-ductile transition of TiAl alloys in recent years is systematically reviewed. The classification methods, main test methods and criteria, transformation characteristics, key influencing factors and micromechanisms are summarized, and future research directions are proposed.
