Abstract：
The working performance and process performance of the lost foam coating for cast steel were studied by five-factor and four-level orthogonal tests. The five factors were sodium bentonite, sodium carboxymethyl cellulose(CMC),silica sol and phenolic resin and 801 glue, the primary and secondary order of influencing factors were determined through experiments, and the best combination of process parameters was obtained. After actual inspection, the surface quality of the cast steel parts produced is good, and no casting defects such as pore slag are generated.
