Abstract:
For a kind of wheel hub for 45T engineering vehicle,the MAGMA software was used to simulate,analyze and calculate the foundry shrinkage problem of the product by using the foundry production method of wet type tidal sand.Based on the actual production conditions,the optimization scheme of the feeding process was developed,and the simulation and actual production verification of the optimized process were carried out.The results show that by analyzing the residual liquid distribution and shrinkage criterion,the filling process design could meet the internal quality requirements of the casting,and the compact hub casting is finally obtained.
