Abstract：Roller is a key part of medium speed coal mill,and it is also a vulnerable part.The research status and progress of grinding roller materials and surface strengthening technology of high chromium cast iron were reviewed.The development trend of surface strengthening technology of high chromium alloy cast iron coating is prospected.
