Abstract：With the expansion of graduate enrollment scale, the quality of graduate education has gradually become the focus of attention. In order to guarantee and improve the quality of the cultivation of graduate students, graduate education in materials process, for example, introducing problems inspired centered workshops with the combination of learning methods and teaching methods, training of graduate students in materials is analyzed in the process of the combination of the two methods of learning and attention points in the process of operation. Furthermore, some suggestions on the application of the two methods in the process of teaching and learning are given.
