Abstract：The application of the copper roller sleeve introduced by German KME company in twin-roll continuous casting of 5052 aluminum alloy was studied. The 5052 aluminum alloy cast-rolled billets and cold rolled product were produced according to the standard requirements by developing the matching technology with the copper roller sleeve casting and rolling production. The results show that the casting and rolling of copper roller sleeve can produce some products with high alloy content and complicated composition that cannot be produced by traditional casting and rolling method, and has the potential to improve casting and rolling speed and production efficiency.
