Abstract:The selective laser melting of 2024 aluminum alloy powder was carried out by using the metal additive manufacturing equipment developed by ourselves. The microstructure and tensile properties of the alloy at room temperature were studied under different technological parameters. The results show that when the laser power is 260 W,the scanning speed is 900 mm/s, and the scanning interval is 0.12 mm, the 2024 aluminum alloy has fine microstructure,dense structure, tensile strength of 372 MPa, elongation of 6.1%, and high mechanical properties at room temperature.
