Abstract:In order to improve the surface hardness and wear resistance of Cr12MoV steel,the surface of Cr12MoV steel was nitrided by plasma nitriding technology,and the CrAlN coating was prepared on the surface of nitriding layer and substrate by multi-arc ion plating technology.The micromorphology,microhardness and friction and wear properties of Cr12MoV steel substrate,nitriding layer and CrAlN coating were analyzed.The results show that the hardness of CrAlN coating after nitriding is up to 3347 HV,which is 1.7 times of that of CrAlN coating without nitriding and 11.8 times of that of Cr12MoV steel substrate.CrAlN coating improves the surface hardness and wear resistance of Cr12MoV steel,and the wear mechanism is mainly adhesive wear.Nitriding treatment improves the adhesion between Cr12MoV steel and CrAlN coating,and further improves the wear resistance of CrAlN coating.
